Settings
The operating parameters of IOZER basic are configured through the Settings, Datapoints, and I/O & Interfaces main menu items.
Changes are first saved and then applied to the running device. Network and interface changes may require a restart or a new connection.

The interfaces also have a shared start/stop state, independent of the program. See I/O and interfaces.
Operating principle
The three configuration sections use the same header buttons. Saving and applying affect the shared device configuration, including changes made in the other sections:

| Apply | Activates the saved changes on the running device |
For commissioning, a step-by-step approach is recommended: first check the network and time base, then configure the interfaces, create datapoints, and finally create program events.
